About
Land Matrix Explore Beta is a dashboard that enables you delve into data from the Land Matrix initative along with additional insights into investor networks from Orbis.
This tool is developed and used by some members and partners of the Land Matrix initiative. Its development started with the preparation of a contribution to the 2024 Global Land Grabbing Conference called Fostering Accountability: Acknowledging Transnational Challenges in Land Investments for Informed Action.
It is powered by RShiny and bslib. We recommend using the platform on a device with a medium to large screen as it is accessible but not optimized for smartphones.
To begin exlporing the dataset, click on 'Overview' in the menu. You can use the left panel to filter the data. Focuses on Investors and Land use are also available from the menu and more are in development.
Please note: This dashboard is a research tool and is not affiliated with the official Land Matrix products. For access to the complete Land Matrix dataset, downloads, and additional information, visit the Land Matrix initiative official website.
